MBAA Minutes

      Below are the Minutes for the last meeting of the MBAA. More as it comes available.

Meeting Start 1:26pm

Food Drive Fun
   Campus involvement recognition of student groups
   on April 17th: MBAA food drive, among others has been
   nominated for this event.

New Elections
   Outlines of current officer positions. Will allow a
   starting point for future MBAA officers. Deadline is
   the Friday before spring break!
Leadership Lab (Matt)
   First workshop was a success with 8-10 people and
   worked on etiquette and networking last Friday.
   Next workshop is on emotional intelligence and
   facilitated by campus involvement
   Schedule activities through campus involvement (RSO)
   Recommendation: set up bylaws or some structure for
   the leadership lab to be sustainable. This will be
   revised at our next meeting.

Career Events (Erika)
   Arbonne was a success last Thursday. They gave a great
   presentation on network marketing.
   KPMG and Protiviti for future events
   Save the date fliers for employers at the career fair
   Look at the career services interview track for possible
   companies we would like to include.

MBAA Website (Steve)
   Not compatible with internet explorer version 7, but
   Steve is working on it
   Also, minutes are being updated

International Dinner (Leah)
   Wednesday March 7th at 6:15pm in Todd 109
   We will invite the international club
   Possible .ppt slideshow with pictures as well as
   artifacts brought for a prop with the food. All
   needs to be registered prior to the event.

Events
   Game Night: Thursday, February 1st: 7-10pm @ Columbia
   Apartments Rec. Room
   Potluck snacks. MBAA will provide drinks.
   Graduation reception: 50th Anniversary. Formal
   invitation for faculty, students and students family’s.
   Faculty then speak, followed with a glorious song
   written by our very own Dr. Munson. details TBA

   Rescheduled:
      March 26th Nominations at MBAA meeting and via email
      April 2nd Acceptance and Bios due
      April 6th Votes due
