MBAA Meeting Aug 30, 2006

      Below are the Minutes for the last meeting of the MBAA. More as it comes available.

Meeting Start 5:40pm

Introductions
   Joel Crawford - Executive President
   Brandon Haakenson - Executive Vice President

Elections
   Information on elections can be found Here.

Funds
   Goal: To increase MBAA funds by $500 by the end of the
   2007 spring semester.
   Everyone should bring 2 ideas for fund raising to
   the next meeting.

Networking
   Networking between the two cohorts needs to greatly improve
   Examples: BBQ's, bowling, etc.

Golf Tournament
   Possibilities: When - Dad's Weekend
      Where - Colfax Course
      Why - Fund raising and networking

Football Fund Raising
   We have 4 USC tickets and a football autographed by the
   team to raffle
   Possibilities: What - Raffle BBQ/Tailgate
      When - USC game
      Why - Networking, start an annual tradition and eventually
      create MBAA support.
      *Look into College of Business tailgate event to possibly link with MBAA

Campus Involvement Registration
   Possibility of $50,000 grant for traveling costs

MBA Polo Shirts
   Prices next meeting (Steve Smith)
   Guy/Girl Styles available

Online resume/pictures
   Pictures from the professional picture day will be used. This will
   be uploaded to the WSU MBAA website to have a collection of
   our resumes for companies to easily access.

Business Cards
   What - Need to run an advertising campaign
   Why - revenue generating
   Stipulation - Can not sell the cards online
   Notes: Cheryl has a list of possible clientele already. We need
   to look into possible deadlines.
