Bowling for October social event ¡V Erika and Brad

The event will start around 7pm so families can be involved. It will last until approximately 9:30pm. Families are very welcome. Brad will contact Zeppoz to see about group rates. Announce this event in your classes!
Update on Dad¡¦s weekend fundraiser ¡V Jon
We will be doing Krispy Kreme donuts. The time of the game is not known. We need to have a volunteer sign-up for first and second years to sell donuts. We are still undecided on the amount of donuts to order. Jon will either pick these donuts up or have a friend bring them that morning.
Schedule International Potluck ¡V Erika and Colin
MBAs, families of MBAs, and professors/staff are invited to attend. In the past there has been a program with slide shows. Or, it can just be a regular potluck. The potluck has traditionally taken place the week before Thanksgiving on a Wednesday. We will not be inviting the International Club. The international potluck will be on Wednesday, November 14th, at 5:30pm in the Todd Hall Atrium. Advertisement needs to go out right away so we get a lot of participation. Colin will make the advertisements and enlist the help of those who signed up to help.
Designate BLC representative ¡V Erika
Meeting on Monday, November 5th
Jason will be the representative. He will take notes and share them at the next MBAA meeting.
Discuss an MBAA Case Competition for spring ¡V Erika
Is there an interest for MBAs to participate in a case competition? MBAA could organize this event. What would be the incentive to participate in the case competition? Erika predicts about three teams would be willing to participate. There is currently a WSU undergraduate case competition through the College of Business (BLC). There might be an option for MBAs to participate in this undergraduate case competition. There is interest in creating our own MBAA Case Competition. The incentive would be a stepping stone to the PAC-10 case competition. This event would be held late in spring semester. Would the 2008 cohort participate in this event? If yes, there would be two leagues (a 2008 and 2009 league) created. Create a committee to plan this event.
