My works are often laden with the strange and unusual. I try to use indefinite shapes that are bewildering. It is also important to me that my work contains a certain level of whimsy. The whimsical elements are subtle but I accomplish this through the playful movements in the form and the somewhat silly shapes they take on. All of these forms are created through an instinctive and spontaneous building process.
