Reza Safavi

Reza’s current work investigates how the presence of technology in daily life shapes human experience: our perceptions, social behavior, economics, entertainment and the way we meet our basic needs. He uses video, photography, sound, sculpture and digital devices to create interactive experiences that highlight the interface between people and machines.

Safavi was born in Victoria, BC, Canada. He received an MFA in Digital Arts from the University of Oregon and BFA from the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC, Canada. His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in Canada and the US.
