Work as a team on this review. Each team should complete a review of two other teams' graphics by the end of class.
First Impressions
As a team, examine the graphic:
- Is it accessible and easy to understand? Write general comments on your first impression.
- Does anything in particular stand out at first glance? Why?
Analysis
Looking in more detail,
- What are the strengths of the graphic? Why?
- Is there anything in the graphic that confuses you? Why? What could you recommend to revise this/these part(s)?
- Evaluate the team's use of Williams' four principles. Which are used effectively? What can you recommend to improve the team's use of the principles?
- Consider other design principles, such as white space, queuing, grid space, and typography, if applicable. What does the team do well? What could be improved on, and how?
Overall, what did you like the most or find the most effective in the graphic? Why?
Using the rubric, provide a score for the graphic.
Are there any final suggestions you would like to make which may not have been addressed in earlier questions?
