| Cable 8 is a student run
station that is used as an educational tool by the students of Washington
State University in Pullman, WA. Cable 8 airs locally to the campus and the
Pullman area on channel 8 from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm on weeknights (15,000
households). Cable 8 airs it's own daily news nightly at 7:00, followed by
student produced programming. All
student programming is produced within the walls of the Murrow School of
Communication. Cable 8 as a club was founded by Professor W. Neal Robison
in 1986 and has been run by the students for the past 14 years, each year
developing into a stronger more respected entity on the WSU campus and in
the Northwest. |
