This is not a garden to be walked around in. You sit on a covered veranda and contemplate it from one side only. Its emptiness and stillness are very soothing, and in the increasingly drizzly weather, it was not overcrowded. The garden is not all stone: note the patches of moss surrounding some of the stones. |
