This partly built house reveals that traditional-looking buildings can have modern innards; the dry-stone exterior is being applied decoratively to the outside of a concrete-block core. Unfortunately, in this seismically active area the older architecture can shift and survive better when the earth shakes; but the new technique is much simpler and cheaper.
