Always check in advance to make sure tickets are available for an event you are interested in. Inability to get last-minute tickets will not be accepted as an excuse.

Cultural events for this assignment must deal with art, music, or drama created in the period 1650-1914. Modern films about this period are not acceptable--the actual works performed must have been created during the period covered by the course (so Shakespeare doesn’t count).

If you want to do an event during spring break, check with me first. You can always explore the European art collection in the Seattle Art Museum if you are there.

Concerts at WSU are mostly free for students; most concerts at the U of I are $3 for students. Other events usually have discounted student prices.
